1 day course led by Barry Meatyard covering basic operation of stereo and compound microscopes, slide making and inspection.

Beyond the Basic Workshop @ Solihull School
Feb 23 @ 9:30 am – Feb 24 @ 4:30 pm

2 day winter workshop and ½ day spring apiary meeting. Led by experienced and qualified beekeepers to help members who have recently passed their Basic Husbandry Assessment progress to the next level of beekeeping. Topics covered include comb changes, using nucs, disease prevention & recognition, queen rearing, uniting bees, swarm management etc..
£25 per head Cost includes refreshments but not lunch.

Pre-requisites: WBKA Members who have the Basic Husbandry Certificate
