Sutton Coldfield and North Birmingham Members’ Summer Meet @ Branch Apiary
Jul 22 @ 5:00 pm

Summer Social

The Annual Summer BarBee Q has been cancelled. However several members have expressed interest in a Social gathering and it has been decided that on Thursday 22nd July that we will hold a Social evening in the apiary starting at 18.00.

No food or drink will be provided and the suggestion is that those attending could bring some food and/or drink both for themselves and to share with others to make the evening go well.

No bees will be opened and with the new apiary layout there is plenty of space well away from the hives.

This year has been very short on social gatherings and with the removal of restrictions there will be no restrictions on numbers or any of the other requirements that we have become used to.

    1. Rachel,

Bee keeping courses tend to start in the new year, around late March or April. Some beekeeping branches run theory sessions over the winter.

Within Warwickshire Beekeepers Association we have a number of Branches that cover North Warwickshire; indeed you are almost spoilt for choice! I would keep an eye on the individual websites for Warwick and Leamington; Solihull and District; Coventry; and possibly Nuneaton and Atherstone branch. If you want to email me the first 4 characters of your postcode I can work out the branch that would be ‘nearest’ to you; webmaster@wbka.org.uk

      Regards,

      Gary Thomas
