WBKA Winter Talk – A Taste of Honey

A Taste of Honey – a talk on the sensory analysis of honey, taking a close look into jars of honey

 

Our speaker Peter Lewis is the Chief Hives and Honey Steward at the annual Great Yorkshire Show. He regularly judges and shows honey. This year he has been out and about judging at the Birmingham and National Honey Shows.

Details of the Zoom talk will be sent out to Members of WBKA nearer the time.

      Bee keeping courses tend to start in the new year, around late March or April. Some beekeeping branches run theory sessions over the winter.

      Within Warwickshire Beekeepers Association we have a number of Branches that cover North Warwickshire; indeed you are almost spoilt for choice! I would keep an eye on the individual websites for Warwick and Leamington; Solihull and District; Coventry; and possibly Nuneaton and Atherstone branch.
